Airport Extravaganza!

Hey everyone!

We are still currently in Dubai, due to the fact that our plane was having "technical difficulties". In other words, it broke down. However, they are working on getting us a new one as we speak so it shouldn't be much longer till we are on our way to Jakarta.

Our first plane flight was rather long, but the food turned out to be rather delicious and we were kept occupied by movies, music, and video games. We are all running on lack of sleep, but still in good spirits-- Starbucks and 4am Burger King runs have helped us out greatly in this area.

I am not sure about how everyone else is feeling, but I am rather dumbfounded because I have no idea what to expect when we arrive in Jakarta. I have noticed myself cherishing things, such as a shower or certain type of food, because I do not know when I will be able to partake in these things again. However, God is faithful and I know he will provide for us. He has already strengthened my faith in Him, which has been a weak area in my life, and we haven't even left the airport!

We all cannot wait to arrive and are thrilled for the experiences ahead and the amazing people that we are going to meet! Be faithful in your prayers for us, we greatly appreciate them!

Love you all! :)

  1. Appreciate every moment, and be filled completely with each situation God provides and leads you into. The time there will go by so fast. Bless everyone you meet, and each other as teammates. This morning my prayers for you are; "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

  3. Been checking a couple times daily to see how you're doing. I'm assuming you can't get internet access, so...I'm holding you all up in prayer. May God be doing incredible things in your hearts and lives and in those you reach as well. Be blessed. Miss you!

  4. Beth and all who are concerned as much as we are with the lack of information.
I e-mailed Kerri the Director Short-term Missions and she confirmed the team is doing well in Jakarta and Bandung, and Friday they flew to their next destination.
